Los Angeles based property management company is currently seeking to hire Accounts Receivable Supervisor to join the accounting team. The AR Supervisor is responsible for supervising, coordinating, assigning, and monitoring the work of accounts receivable staff. This individual must thrive on leading, mentoring and coaching others as well as casting that shadow for others to follow. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support accounts receivable staff
- Maintain and manage all accounts receivable
- Ensure bank reconciliations are done timely
- Maintain & provide updates on aging report.
- Responsible for reviewing and performing Month-End closing on a timely and accurate basis through Yardi.
- Verify and confirm the audit results on resident files
- Maintain documentation for compliance to the company policies and procedures
- Assist in interpreting and implementing the company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor(s) and senior management.
Experience, Training, and Education Requirements:
- Supervisor: 2 years (Minimum), property management preferred
- Accounting: 5 years (Minimum)
- Education: Bachelor’s (working experience can be substituted for degree)
- Software: Yardi Voyager (Accounts Receivable function is preferred), Microsoft Excel and Word
- Written and oral communication skills
- Customer service and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of fair housing laws and any applicable local housing provisions a plus.
Schedule
- Full Time
- Monday – Friday, hours between 8a-6p.
- Must work out of corporate office on a daily basis. NOT a remote or hybrid position
Salary and Benefits
- $66,700 - $72,000 a year, depending on experience
