We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Accountant to join our team. As an integral part of our bookkeeping and business management firm, the successful candidate will be responsible for various accounting tasks, client interactions, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.

Responsibilities:

- Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks Online and Bill.com

- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts

- Prepare financial statements and reports

- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable

- Handle tax-related matters and ensure compliance with IRS regulations

- Process payroll and commissions for clients

- Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information and resolve accounting issues

- Travel to client offices as needed for onsite assistance

- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks

- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

- Proven experience working with QuickBooks Online and Bill.com

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

- Detail-oriented and organized

- Reliable and responsible work ethic

- Willingness to travel to client locations as required

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team setting

Preferred Qualifications:

- CPA or CPA candidate

- Experience working in a similar role or industry

- Proficiency in other accounting software programs

- Additional certifications or training in accounting or bookkeeping
