Description We are currently seeking a temporary Procurement Specialist for a client located in Livermore, CA. The ideal candidate will be proficient in handling the company's end-to-end procurement process, possess a deep understanding of supply chain management concepts, and demonstrate astute negotiation skills. Manage the full procurement cycle, including vendor selection, negotiation, purchase order creation, delivery tracking, and payment.
Analyze and evaluate offers from suppliers.
Implement and maintain procurement policies to ensure quality, delivery, and cost control.
Develop and maintain professional relationships with key suppliers.
Generate and analyze procurement reports.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field desirable.
At least 3 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
Proficient with MS Office Suite and procurement software.
Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
