HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT Responsible for the smooth operation of the IT functions and for maintaining high internal customer satisfaction with efficient and complete services and support. Sets up and troubleshoots PC’s, provides user training, administers help-desk support, and maintains hardware. Administers the network, the network files and/or databases, and the software used. Assists with maintaining equipment and software inventory, tracking licenses and warranties. Collaborates with other IT team members on documentation of policies and procedures, setting corporate standards for hardware and software, and by evaluating and recommending new software systems and/or technologies for the corporation. Reports to the IT/IS Manager. Achievement of objectives must include an overriding commitment to quality that must permeate the areas of responsibility. Enable and Drive Change in the Organization. WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
Determines end-user system requirements.
Fully supports, configures, maintains, and upgrades computer equipment and related devices.
Installs and maintains network and desktop hardware and software.
Fields and logs incoming help requests from end users.
Delivers service and support to end-users.
Conducts computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems.
Analyzes, isolates, and resolves issues in a timely fashion.
Ensures network security and connectivity.
Sets up user accounts, access permissions and passwords.
Maintains network performance by performing network monitoring and analysis.
Secures network by developing network monitoring, controls, and evaluation.
Collaborates with other technical team members to assess network-related needs.
Work with external support vendors on various technical issues.
Assists with maintenance of IT documentation.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
Relevant bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, 2 years
Knowledge of basic computer hardware and desktop operating systems
Working knowledge of a range of diagnostic utilities
Excellent technical knowledge of network hardware, software, and data security
Proven experience in an IT support role
Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Understanding of technical documentation
Willingness to travel and support multi-locations across the business units.
Physical & Environmental requirements:
Occasionally ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles, and the like.
Occasionally moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces.
Constantly remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
Occasionally moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
Occasionally adjusting or moving objects up to 50 pounds in all directions.
Constantly communicating with others to exchange information.
Constantly repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
Occasionally operating machinery and/or power tools.
Constantly assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned.
Occasional exposure to low temperatures and high temperatures
