- Experience with implementing API management along with the API Gateway pattern within a REST based microservices architecture
- Experience implementing throttling, TLS offloading, mTLS, API versioning, and requesting signing use cases as a part of the API Management and Gateway architectures
- Experience with designing solutions that propagate identity awareness across service to service communications
- Experience configuring and deploying an open source or commercial off the shelf API Gateway and Manager, such as Kong, WSO2, Zuul, Google ApiGee, Axway, or Mulesoft
- Strong working knowledge of mutually authenticated TLS nStrong working knowledge of OAuth2
- Experience working with Public Key Infrastructure as it relates to non-person identities / IoT.
- Working knowledge of proxy solutions such as NGINX, Apache, HAProxy or Traefik
- Preferred: experience with Spring Boot
- Preferred: experience with Cloud Foundry
- Preferred: experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
