Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk at our location in Laguna Niguel, California. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be involved in a variety of tasks within the finance industry, such as maintaining accurate accounts payable records, processing customer applications, and handling invoice reconciliation. Responsibilities: Accurately process customer credit applications as part of the Accounts Payable (AP) function Keep customer credit records up-to-date and precise Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that might arise Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary Conduct regular check runs to ensure timely payments Utilize Concur Expense to manage and process expenses Conduct invoice reconciliation to ensure accuracy of billing and payments Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail in all work Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient financial operations. Requirements Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) operations and management Experience with check runs and managing the payment process Familiarity with Concur Expense software for expense management Ability to perform invoice reconciliation and resolve discrepancies Strong mathematical and analytical skills Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy Proficient in MS Office suite, particularly Excel Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively Knowledge of general accounting principles and procedures High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
