In this job, you will manage a diverse portfolio of supplier and third-party contracts for SCE’s Revenue Services Organization (RSO), foster supplier relationships, ensure effective communication, mitigate risks, achieve cost savings, maintain smooth operations, and drive continuous improvement. Additionally, you will work on competitive bid efforts in partnership with Supply Management, help the organization select the best suppliers and achieve optimal contract terms, which is essential for cost savings and operational efficiency. Support audits and data requests by researching and analyzing information, policies, and procedures to ensure organization can provide accurate and comprehensive information. Lastly, forecast budgetary spend across all contracts and support operational planning.As a Senior Advisor , your work will help power our planet, reduce carbon emissions and create cleaner air for everyone. Ensures adherence to regulatory and governance requirements throughout the life of the contract to ensure that any decisions being made are following the organizations standards and policies

Evaluates and monitors contract performance to determine necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts, and compliance to contractual obligations

Collaborates with relevant stakeholders on contractual matters, mobilize internal teams to respond to customer needs, lead and form ad hoc cross-functional teams to address and resolve issues

Manages contract performance, evaluates and leads contract disputes and makes strategic recommendations to improve contract performance

Leads the production of useful management information and developing new procedures for contract processing in order to drive forward continuous improvement

Drives the handling of complex or high value contracts, ensuring alignment with the necessary requirements and organizations service standards

Manages and monitors contract documentation ensuring alignment with organization policies and procedures and service-level agreements

Ensures that all necessary steps are taken for the delivery of contract in a manner consistent with the obligations of the agreement, market rules, and internal processes

Performs risk mitigation through identification of potential project, supplier, spend, performance, and safety risk factors and creates related actionable mitigation plans

Oversees all change orders, mitigation of contract value leakage, amendments to supplier agreements, analyzing volume growth discounts, oversight of contractual rates, and maintenance of the agreement throughout the life of the contract

A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.

Minimum Qualifications

Ten or more years of experience in contract administration.

Experience in contract management, interpretation of contract terms and conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

Proficiency with Ariba and SAP.

Extensive experience in project management.

Excellent knowledge of contract law and regulations, accounting principles and finance.

Strong negotiation and mediation skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including MS Project.

Excellent analytical, organizational and time-management skills.

Additional Information

This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
