job detailsjob summary:A Tester in the Irvine, CA area is needed for a multinational power management company. The Tester performs bench testing on parts, subassemblies, and units using gauges and meters, ensures safety and organization in the work area, reads blueprints and schematics, and actively engages in continuous improvement efforts.location: Irvine, Californiajob type: Contractsalary: $18.79 - 21.50 per hourwork hours: 8am to 4pmeducation: High Schoolresponsibilities:
Perform bench testing on parts, subassemblies, and completed units according to established procedures.
Use simple limit direct reading gauges and meters for bench work.
Build and fabricate setup operations on less complicated test systems.
Connect products to test equipment, monitor gauges/meters, verify, and record test results.
Comply with all safety requirements, including proper use of personal protective equipment.
Operate equipment safely and follow departmental safety objectives and goals.
Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly work area in alignment with 5S standards.
Engage in Lean Initiatives and support Continuous Improvement activities.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics accurately.
Skills:
Proficiency in simple math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
Ability to use direct reading and fixed gauges.
Competence in reading blueprints and schematics.
