Job DescriptionThe Manager, Field Planning & Incentive Compensation, Enterprise is a strategic partner to Market Access, Medical Affairs & AbbVie Patient Services Field Leadership. This role is responsible for field force size, structure and alignment, field medical panel or proactive target list design and implementation. This role is also responsible for analytics and reporting support across all enterprise brands and field forces. Primary point of contact for day-to-day Field Planning & Analytics Team (FPAT) activities, with expectation to maintain a strong partnership with in-house and field leadership, Central Operations, MABI, BTS, FPAT CoEs, IC and Tools teams as well as external vendors to enable higher performance. Key Responsibilities:

Own and manages critical Field Force workload factors across the enterprise teams and considerations in evaluation and creation of territory alignment and placement.

Manage of the field force panel/target build process, including partnership with the MABI team for inputs, deciding business rules, working with director level stakeholders, managing timelines & requirements, collaborating with the vendor and finally distribution and communication.

Accurate execution of roll forwards including collaboration with cross functional teams to ensure timely deployment of call plans.

Partner with the business on creation of the panels, as well as training to the field teams on certain tools (i.e. MSL expert panel refresh tools, field medical planning tool, market access tool).

Operationalize Market Access Incentive Compensation SPIFFs/contests for market events in partnership with Market Access Marketing leadership.

Provide analytical and reporting support across all teams.

Develop and maintain project plans (timeline, meetings, SOP etc.)

Understand the underlying business needs and translate into actionable plans in a timely manner.

Maintain in-depth knowledge of sales forces, products/market dynamics, operational processes, business partner engagement, call plan strategy, IC plan etc.

Qualifications

BA/BS degree required.

5+ years of analytical experience

Strong critical thinking & analytical skills

Excellent problem solving and cognitive skills.

Collaborative and Self motivated

Possess a high degree of proficiency in several technical areas. Must be comfortable with querying data tables, understanding data warehouses, have experience managing and interpreting large datasets.

Data visualization skills (Javelin), Power BI

Programming language experience (i.e., SAS, R, SQL, Snowflake, Dataiku)

Proficiency in Microsoft suite, especially Excell and PowerPoint

Effective communication, storytelling & presentation skills

Customer focused mindset – ensuring our field teams and other stakeholders have everything they need to succeed.

Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously to ensure business needs are met timely.

Synthesize direction and ideas from multiple teams and implement into work

Excellent project management skills
