Support business unit in data preparation
Model development and support ongoing projects
Conduct advanced research and engineering for artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) solutions for healthcare-related topics to support the development of a machine learning pipeline.
Work with large-scale healthcare datasets to develop and test your ML models.
Take advantage of models developed internally and/or available from the community to solve research problems in healthcare.
Work closely with the AI research team and clinical team to transfer your proof-of-concept research prototypes into meaningful features within our products.
Specific internship projects will be identified based on the candidate's strengths and interests, as well as business need.What you'll need (Required):
Current enrollment as a student at an accredited university for the duration of the Internship project with a graduation date of December 2025 or later
Ability to work full-time for the duration of the Internship (May/June 2025 - Aug 2025)
Comfortability working in a lab environment, as well as being hands-on, highly motivated, able to follow procedures, perform testing, and clearly convey data results.
Strong interest in pursuing relevant industry experience.
Good scholastic standing (3.0+ cumulative GPA or equivalent)
Must not require company sponsorship for an employment-based visa now or in the future.
What else we look for (Preferred):
Pursuing Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Data Science or Biomedical Engineering
Experience with data science or building machine learning models including Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large Language Model (LLM) is required
Experience with Python required
Technical writing skills
Experience working in Lifesciences or Medical Device company is a plus
