Seeking EXPERIENCED Diesel Mechanic/Technician.
REQUIERMENT:
Diagnose, adjust, and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and hydraulic systems
Repair engines, transmissions, and starters/alternators
Maintain fuel lines, brakes, and other systems
Ensure the performance and safety of vehicles, including and not limited to DOT regulations
Repair and maintenance: Repair or replace parts, including engines, transmissions, steering, and brakes
Preventative maintenance: Change oil, check fluid levels
Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems
Inspections: Perform safety inspections (90 Day BITs and Annual DOTs) and test drives
Customer service: Consult with customers, provide quotes, find parts and pricing and explain repairs
Technical work: Use technical charts and manuals, be computer savvy and operate diagnostic devices
Equipment operation: Use power, machine, and hand tools safely
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to lift heavy equipment and parts
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent communication skills
Technical certification or degree
Experience working with computers and diagnostic devices
Have your own tools
Clarification on Truck mechanic, also known as a diesel mechanic or heavy-duty mechanic:
Repairs and maintains diesel trucks, heavy equipment, and other vehicles.
They also perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, and inspect vehicles.
