This is a Dual Position working as a Mechanic and a Serice Writer. We require you have Experience in both positions. You will need to be Available Monday through Saturday. This is a 40 hour per week position with the possibility of Overtime.
The position requires Excellent Communication Skills, Customer Service Skills, Organizational Skills, the Ability to Work Independently, Critical Thinking, and Excellent Time Mangement Skills. Being Bilingual would be a plus.
You are an Experienced Mechanic. You must understand the fundamentals of 12V Electrical Diagnostics, have knowledge of Resistance, Amperage, OHM's, and Voltage. You will have experience in Bearing Service, Electrical & Hydraulic Brakes, and Leaf Spring Suspension. Experience working on Utility and Cargo Trailers would be a plus.
You will also have Service Writer Experience. This will include Computer Skills, Knowledge of Automotive Software (we use Mitchell), the ability to properly Diagnose Repairs, and make accurate Parts Orders while maintaining Parts Inventory. You will also be capable of processing Customer Estimates, Invoices and Payments.
