We are an established Contractor seeking a reliable and experienced Working Foreman with a solid background in underground wet utilities for a long-term position within our team. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone with integrity, strong work ethic, and the ability to lead and motivate a crew while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented individual with proven leadership experience in the underground utilities sector. You must be ethical, trustworthy, and capable of managing crews and job sites with minimal supervision. Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety are essential.
Responsibilities Include:
Lead and manage a crew of 5+ employees
Ensure safety protocols are followed and conduct weekly safety meetings
Read and interpret plans and specifications
Schedule work and maintain a 3-week look-ahead
Coordinate with sub-tiers and vendors
Accurately complete daily reports, weekly timecards, and other documentation
Maintain a well-organized and productive job site
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years’ experience as a foreman/supervisor in underground wet utilities (public and private works)
Proven experience with water, sewer, and storm drain installation (pipeline experience is required)
Familiar with prevailing wage standards
Excellent communication and crew management skills
Knowledge of plans, specifications, and construction scheduling
Valid California driver’s license with a clean DMV record
Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
E-Verify participation required

Compensation & Benefits:
$55–$72/hour (private rate, DOE)
Prevailing wage rates as applicable
