Seamstress Supervisor (Chino, Ca)
compensation: $23.00-$26.00/hr depending on experience
Beginner to Intermediate level sewing experience: $17-$20

Company Overview: Our company is looking for a supervisor seamstress to become an integral part of our team in our warehouse! Fusion Climb is a small family-owned and operated manufacturing business that has been in operation for 15+ years in Chino, CA. We specialize in safety products for construction, military, and outdoor activities and are committed to providing our customers with the highest quality products and services.
Responsibilities:
Supervise a small team;
Consistently perform job functions taking into consideration safety, punctuality and deadlines;
Perform basic equipment maintenance tasks such as replacing needles and cleaning sewing machines;
Ensuring that sewing machines and other equipment are in good working order;
Select supplies, such as fasteners and thread, in accordance with job specifications;
Will be responsible for sewing garments from start to finish;
Sew fabrics using industrial sewing machines (Brother and Juki) or other stitching machines;
Ability to cut, measure, fabrics, and other custom goods;
Constructing paroducts and other articles according to company and customers’ specifications and preferences;
Examine finished products to verify they meet our high quality standards;
Inspect production materials (fabrics, zippers, etc) for quality;
All work done at location only;
Qualifications:
Minimum 18 years of age;
Be able to work a full-time (8:00AM to 4:30PM);
Effective communication skills (biligual in Mandarin preferred);
Experienced in sewing/Proven sewing experience (10 years experience);
Production and planning supervisory experience;
The ability to work under time constraints;
Be able to learn quickly and maintain high level of accuracy;
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals;
Be able to read shop orders and follow sewing standards;
Good hand-eye coordination, concentration skills and a demonstrated attention to detail;
Must be able to sit for long periods of time;
Able to lift/move up to 10-15 pounds;
An appreciation for detail and the desire to create fine products;
Able to sit for extended periods;
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
Detail oriented;
Ability to work overtime as needed;
Ability to use sewing machines;
Attention to detail;
Ability to follow directions.
Ability to handle physical workload, up to 50 lbs.
Ability to multitask and prioritize
Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment
