A growing, Steel Stud/Drywall Commercial General Contractor in Calimesa is seeking an Estimator to join our team. This position will be full time.
This position will Manage the Bid process for multiple projects at one time as well as assist Project Management Staff in Contract Procurement and Additional Work Estimating along with additional preconstruction duties.
Specific Duties:
Must be able to read, understand and analyze Blueprints and specifications with knowledge of all trades and ability to develop detailed cost estimates and Accurate Scope of work
Perform RFI's to turn into GC
Generate Client Bid Documents.
Perform Trade Scope Take Off’s, to establish RFP’s, and for budget costing.
Collect and Organize Project Documents for Pre-construction.
Manage and Update Vendor list.
Develop Preliminary Project Schedules during Bidding Process
Assist with Change Orders and RFI's
Specific Skills:
Strong Communication Skills (Written and Verbal)
Excellent Organizational and Time Management Skills
Ability to Prioritize Multiple Projects of varying scopes and values and meet tight deadlines
Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with team members within and outside the organization.
Experience with PlanSwift and/or OnCenter and Excel.
