We are currently seeking a skilled Automotive Technician and engine builder to become an integral part of our team! You will diagnose, adjust, repair, and overhaul automotive vehicles. We have been in business for over 20 years and are one of Southern California's premier performance facilities. It is rare that this position is available. All of our employees are long-term and have been with us for several years. We have a small, close knit crew and the work environment is professional and detail oriented but is also very fun. We have multiple lifts and all the equipment to get the jobs done correctly.
A qualified candidate will be a skilled Automotive Technician, have their own professional tools and be proficient in diagnosing and repairing fuel injection, clutch, manual transmission and turbocharger systems to include wastegates, boost controllers etc. The candidate will also have the ability to do jobs like bolt extractions, mig/tig welding (not required but a plus), thread tapping and other basic fabrication work. They will have the ability to problem solve on their own and be confident in their work and talents.
You are required to have a valid California driver's license, and must have reliable transportation to get you to and from work in a timely manner. At times picking up or dropping off parts may be required. Work week is 5 days long. Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair automotive vehicles
Perform routine vehicle tune-ups and maintenance
Provide labor and time estimates for automotive repairs
Inspect and test new vehicles for necessary adjustments

Previous experience as an automotive technician, mechanic, or other related fields
Knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
