Title: Firewatch Security
Pay: $17.00 per hour.
Start: ASAP
Work Duties:
Door Monitoring – Monitor the building doors and ensure that no persons enter the property. You will
monitor and check for signs of smoke, fire, damage, and forced entry.
Patrol inside the store - You must observe for any signs of smoke, oil spills, and fires.
You must conduct foot patrols every 30 minutes inside the warehouse and front store areas.
You must report your patrols on an electronic patrol system using the store telephones.
Walkways Safety - While patrolling observe the walkways to ensure safe operations; report any spills to the store
associates and you must clear and remove and small objects or debris that may cause an unsafe working conditions.
Know location - Of fire exits, be prepared to assist in case of any emergency.
Call the police or fire department - In case of emergencies or if you observe smoke or fire on the property.
Suspicious Activities - Report all suspicious events to onsite staff.
Report a routine check-up by telephone every hour on the store telephone system.
Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must be legal to work in the U.S.
Have a working social security card.
Have a high school diploma, GED, or higher.
Pass a criminal background check.
Pass a drug test.
Have a current Guard Card license.
Have completed the 40 hours of security guard training (AB2880) or be able to obtain the training within 60 days of
hire at your own expense.
Able to clock in/off duty using the company telephone application system TracTick. Training will be provided.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule (evenings, holidays, and weekends required.
