Project Coordinator For Custom Home Builder In Murrieta
This is an entry/intermediate level position – with room for advancement. This person needs to have construction/project tracking experience and must be detail orientated as well as being able to monitor the status of various project at one time.
The ability to read and understand structural and civil drawings is a plus.
The duties and requirements for this position may include but are not limited to:
Monitoring Approvals To Proceed, Preliminary & Final Designs, Site Visits, Specifications & Color Selections With Clients.
Tracking submittals and timing of the civil engineers and consultants, soils engineers, architectural plans, working with the water and sewer districts, electrical and gas districts in addition to the fire departments and school districts. This person will also be responsible for tracking and timing of all city and county related items, including but not limited to plan check, grading permits, building permits, all fees associated with the building department.
The person will need to work co-operatively with others to achieve team goals and objectives.
The person will need to have excellent computer and organizational skills, be proficient in Adobe, Office 365 and able to multi-task. Must have excellent analytical and problem solving abilities. They must have good communication skills and manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed and stored. When problems arise or schedules fall behind, the project coordinator’s responsibility is to make necessary adjustments and communicate with the project manager and team members about the issue.
The person must be able to pass a drug test and must have a clean criminal background check.
