Vacancy caducado!
Hello.
I'm looking for a good manual machinist with experience on typical Bridgeport type mills and typical lathes.
We make and install custom ornamental / architectural metals products for high-end residential. Everything we do is custom and each job is slightly different. We're not a machine shop and we don't make airplane parts so tolerances are looser and we don't manufacture in huge volume.
See attached photos for some examples of parts.
Must be reliable, efficient and resourceful. Also must have the ability to adapt. Sometimes we do one-off pieces and we don't always have the right cutters etc. I need somebody that can figure it out and get the job done without a ton of excuses.
Age doesn't matter, retired is ok.
Pay is good and the environment is different than a machine shop.
The shop is located in San Jacinto. Schedule is generally full-time but hours can be slightly flexible if necessary. I prefer somebody that lives in the hemet/san Jacinto area.
If any of this sounds interesting please call. Leave a message or text if I don't answer.
