Leading Manufacturing Company located in the Inland Empire is seeking a:

Junior Service Technician

Goal:

Looking for an individual with a mechanical aptitude and excellent customer service skills. Knowledge and experience in the security products field desired.

Shift:

During training 8:00 A.M. 4:30 P.M.

Qualifications:

Computer experience, to include Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook is required.

Respectable phone skills and experience in resolving customer conflicts.

Ability to document information from a phone call and process the necessary information in a speedy and accurate manner.

Able to follow directions verbally and written.

Motivated attitude.

Proper attendance and promptness a must.

Bi-lingual (English / Spanish) a plus.

Position Responsibility:

Utilizes company software: Made2Manage, SafeManager and Chat.

Resolves customer complaints/issues.

Negotiates service rates with locksmiths.

Assists inside and outside Sales Managers with customer relations.

Follows through from call origination to the final service solution.

Supports inside Sales in product / lock application.

Develops a strong working knowledge of all security products present and past.

Scope of position:

Answers calls from consumers, dealers, and locksmiths pertaining to product inquiries or problems.

Diagnoses problems based on mechanical and electronic lock experience.

Enters calls into our software program, SafeManager.

If further service is required, creates a case and orders parts. Schedules a locksmith after negotiating the service call and labor rate.

After initial training has been completed, technical support for after-hours (4:31pm 5:59am) will be required on a scheduled, rotating basis. Additional compensation to the regular salary is provided when scheduled for after-hours support. This is a 24hr. duty that will involve evenings, weekends, and holidays when applicable. A company phone and laptop are provided.
