Job Summary:
The yard goat driver is responsible for safely securing trailers to the yard goat equipment and moving/relocating the trailers as directed within the client’s premises and or traveling to another client’s location(s) throughout the day. At the destination, the yard goat driver disconnects the trailer and then proceeds to the next trailer that requires movement/relocation.
Schedule:
-1st shifts
-Monday-Friday 8hours
-Must be open to OT and weekends
-Must be able to do physical lifting/physical work
-Class C driver $24.00 an hour
-Class A driver $25.00 an hour
Essential Functions: -Performs inspection of vehicle prior to use, moves trailers/containers from the warehouse doors to the yard and vice versa as directed by management. -Checking /containers as they are spotted for loading and unloading and pulling from doors. -Orderly maintaining of the yard. -Will be responsible for inputting data into company system. -Will Service multiple buildings as required. -Will be performing various warehouse duties as needed to include, Forklift Operations, order pulling, offloading, RF scanning, labeling, palletizing, shrink wrapping and minor other duties as assigned. Requirements: -At least 21 years of age -No Tickets, violations, infractions, or convictions on their record. -When applying for the position we need a recent DMV print out. -Bring an updated Physical card that complies with DOT. -Must pass assessment. -Must pass DOT drug screen and physical. -Must pass random drug test per DOT compliance. -Must have a current class A license. -Reliable and customer oriented. -Safety oriented. -Must have good attendance and it is an essential function of the job. -Must know how to drive manual transmission. -Travel to various locations is required. El conductor de cabras de patio es responsable de asegurar de manera segura los remolques al equipo de cabras de patio y mover / reubicar los remolques según las instrucciones dentro de las instalaciones del cliente o viajar a las ubicaciones de otro cliente durante todo el día. En el destino, el conductor de la cabra del patio desconecta el remolque y luego procede al siguiente remolque que requiere movimiento / reubicación.
Horario:
-1º turno
-Lunes-Viernes 8horas
-Debe estar abierto a OT y fines de semana
-Debe ser capaz de levantar objetos físicos/trabajo físico
-Conductor Clase C $24.00 por hora

Funciones esenciales:
-Realiza la inspección del vehículo antes de su uso, mueve los remolques/contenedores desde las puertas del almacén hasta el patio y viceversa según las indicaciones de la gerencia.
-Comprobación de los contenedores a medida que se detectan para la carga y descarga y la extracción de las puertas.
-Mantenimiento ordenado del patio.
-Será responsable de ingresar datos en el sistema de la empresa.
-Dará servicio a varios edificios según sea necesario.
-Realizará varias tareas de almacén según sea necesario, incluidas operaciones de montacargas, extracción de pedidos, descarga, escaneo de RF, etiquetado, paletizado, envoltura retráctil y otras tareas menores según se asigne.
Requisitos:
-Tener al menos 21 años de edad
-No hay multas, violaciones, infracciones o condenas en su registro.
-Al solicitar el puesto, necesitamos una copia impresa reciente del DMV.
-Traer una tarjeta física actualizada que cumpla con el DOT.
-Debe aprobar la evaluación.
-Debe pasar la prueba de detección de drogas y el examen físico del DOT.
-Debe pasar una prueba de drogas aleatoria según el cumplimiento del DOT.
-Debe tener una licencia de clase A vigente.
-Confiable y orientado al cliente.
-Orientado a la seguridad.
-Debe tener buena asistencia y es una función esencial del trabajo.
-Debe saber conducir la transmisión manual.
-Se requiere viajar a varios lugares.
