We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the warehouse operations, ensuring that all incoming shipments are accurately received, documented, and stored. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse management systems and excellent attention to detail to maintain inventory accuracy.
Location: Hemet, CA
Pay Range: $19 - $20 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6 AM – 2:30 PM (occasional overtime and Saturdays as required)
TEMP to HIRE
✅ Coordinate receiving dock activities, including assisting suppliers with truck unloading
✅ Operate forklifts and hand devices to load/unload materials
✅ Process deliveries in the ERP system following company standards
✅ Ensure compliance with identification, labeling, and material tracking regulations
✅ Sort and distribute received materials to designated factory locations
✅ Collaborate with Material Handlers to stock and deploy materials
✅ Verify supplier deliveries against purchase orders and packing slips
✅ Report and resolve delivery issues with purchasing teams
✅ Maintain a clean and organized work environment
✅ Adhere to all safety regulations (OSHA, ISO, etc.)
Additional Responsibilities:
✅ Perform inventory cycle counts as required
✅ Work with Operations and Procurement to identify process improvements
✅ Participate in DBS, Daily Management, and Kaizen events
✅ Assist with inter-site material transfers
✅ Support supervisors with assigned responsibilities when needed
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Skills & Qualifications:
Ability to work overtime as needed
Forklift operation experience required
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel (Basic)
Experience with MRP, SAP, or ERP systems is a plus
Strong accountability, responsibility, and work ethic
Excellent customer service focus (internal & external)
