Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Auto Body Technician to join our team. As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicles to their original condition. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail.
Duties:
- Perform auto body repairs and restoration work on vehicles
- Remove damaged parts and panels, and repair or replace as necessary
- Assemble and disassemble vehicle components
- Conduct vehicle inspections to identify additional repair needs
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns and inquiries
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of auto body repair techniques and tools
- Proficient in vehicle maintenance and automotive repair procedures
- Ability to interpret repair manuals and technical specifications
- Skilled in heavy lifting, soldering, and fabricating
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong customer service skills
Additional Preferred Skills/ Experience:
Minimum 4 year of collision auto body repair experience.
Knowledge of insurance procedures and requirements.
I-CAR certification.
Proficient in the use of estimating software CCC One.
