Job Description:
Under the supervision of the Facility Manager, the Inventory Control Lead is responsible for organizing, maintaining, and ensuring the accuracy of all inventories and related records. This role focuses on operational excellence, promoting safety, quality, and compliance within the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain the physical integrity of our inventory.
Optimize storage locations based on item velocity.
Conduct cycle counts and investigate variances to maintain inventory accuracy.
Handle inventory transfers, reassigning active locations as needed.
Ensure compliance with company policies and SOPs, including FIFO and shelf-life policies.
Support return goods and product destruction processes.
Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment.
Foster positive cross-functional relationships to enhance operational success.
Qualifications:
Experience in inventory control or warehouse management is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to problem-solve and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Familiarity with inventory software/systems is a plus.
Positive attitude and team-player mentality.
