SENIOR ASSOCIATE ENGINEER
We are looking for a Senior Associate Engineer who is experienced in managing Projects related to wastewater, water, and Condition Assessment projects. The candidate(s) must have specialized knowledge of the water and wastewater engineering and construction industry with at least 5 years of experience and the ability to work a full-time hybrid work schedule.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Perform complex, professional engineering-related duties for a number of functional areas, including CIP project planning/design, engineering and construction project management, maintenance/reliability engineering, plant operations technical support, energy management and recycled water program management.
Plan and develop engineering design projects
Prepare RFP’s
Direct and oversee the preparation of plans and environmental reviews for projects
Troubleshoot design plans
Provide frontline technical guidance and consulting assistance to plant management/operators to troubleshoot and resolve myriad operations and maintenance
Attend meetings
Conduct field investigations and site visits
Act as Construction Project Manager when needed
Serve as key member of capital project teams
QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate from a 4-year accredited college and university with a Civil Engineering or related Engineering discipline major.
A minimum of 5 years of progressively and diversified engineering and project management experience in Public Works Projects, preferably in wastewater treatment, potable water treatment, and water distribution systems or equivalent education, training and experience.
Class C Driver’s License
Registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of California (highly desired)
