Chino manufacturer/wholesaler needs a motivated inside salesperson for the following duties:
First responder to incoming phone calls
Determine if call needs to be routed to someone else
Handle call yourself
Provides customer assistance in determining which product we sell best meets the customer needs and provide quotation for same, or pass request on to the person best equipped to assist the customer
Enter incoming sales orders into Quickbooks and Access
Determine if products need to be ordered or not
Order, or advise others, of the need to order items required by sales orders
Provide written quotations to customers with copies to outside sales person
Keep appropriate salesman and managers aware of customer contacts and responses
Expedite customer orders to make sure we meet promised delivery dates
Print out weekly report of items to be shipped, analyze, and give to Assembly/Warehouse employee to fill and ship
Enter / check accuracy of vendor acknowledgements
Expedite purchase orders to insure delivery dates are met
Maintain our returns file
Issue return numbers
Write up problem and solution
Track return through corrective action report and final credits
Provide reports to sales team as requested
Maintain quotation file – removing expired quotes
Accounts Payable
Pay bills weekly
Enter bills received in mail for utilities, supplies, etc
Accounts Receivable
Receive drop shipments and invoice them
Process receivables and make deposit
Do weekly customer inventory reports
Other duties as assigned
We are a very small team, so the ideal candidate will be able to wear many hats and work unsupervised. Previous experience a big plus.
We offer health insurance through Kaiser and a 401k plan with guaranteed company funding after one year of employment. Hours 8AM - 4:30 PM Monday-Friday. One week paid vacation per year + sick time available.
