Job Description:
We are looking for a friendly, professional, and customer-oriented Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at Hotel Del Sol. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests and play a vital role in ensuring a pleasant and seamless stay from check-in to check-out.
Responsibilities:
Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests of the hotel.
Answer phone calls promptly and professionally, handling reservations, inquiries, and cancellations.
Provide information to guests about hotel services, facilities, and other amenities.
Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately.
Handle guest issues and complaints with empathy and professionalism, ensuring guest satisfaction.
Process payments and handle billing queries with accuracy.
Maintain a clean and orderly front desk area to ensure a positive image of the hotel.
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure room readiness and address any guest needs or concerns.
Provide general support and assistance with other hotel operations as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; further training or education in hospitality is a plus.
Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
Proficient in the use of computers and hotel booking software.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
