Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller in the Wholesale Distribution - Dur Goods industry, located in Indio. As a Controller, you will be tasked with overseeing financial operations, managing budgets, and interfacing with external auditors. Your role will also involve managing general ledger entries, preparing financial statements, and utilizing large ERP systems. Please call Brigitte Mendez @ 909-717-4037 if you are interested, otherwise if you are working with a Robert Half Recruiter contact them.Responsibilities: Oversee the monthly accounting operations Prepare financial statements for review Manage general ledger entries and ensure their accuracy Develop and maintain budgets and forecasts Handle month and year-end processes efficiently Liaise with external auditors as required Leverage advanced Excel skills for data management and analysis Manage financial transactions and records using Accounting Software Systems such as QuickBooks and Dynamics 365 Business Central Ensure optimal utilization of accounting functions and maintain up-to-date financial records Oversee year-end closing processRequirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is a must. Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions is required. Prior experience in Auditing is essential. Familiarity with Budget Processes is needed. Ability to prepare Financial Statements is mandatory. Knowledge of General Ledger is crucial. Expertise in QuickBooks is expected. Experience with Quickbooks Online is necessary. Competence in executing Year End Closings is vital. Familiarity with Dynamics 365 Business Central is desirable.
