Full-Time Front Office Staff Position
Starting at $18/hr
Monday – Friday
Summer Hours: 8am – 5pm
Winter Hours: 8am – 4pm (w/ workshare days)

B&B Portable Toilets is looking to hire a reliable and long-term front office desk position to oversee all receptionist duties at our main office in Blue Lake, CA. This position is FULL TIME, Monday – Friday. Our central goal is to provide customers with outstanding customer service and support. A successful candidate will be professional and friendly with outstanding people skills, while being able to multitask under a high stress environment. Our company operates at an incredibly fast pace (especially in the height of summer season) and requires the ability to maintain professionalism with stress management skills.
Responsibilities & Duties;
- Greet customers and provide them with superb customer service
- Answering phone systems: This includes fielding customer questions, taking messages and orders, transferring calls, and putting callers on hold to handle multiple incoming calls at once
- Computers & Data Entry: Must be able to operate a computer while handling email, data entry, calendar and scheduling apps, printing systems and word processing applications such as Microsoft. You will be performing a significant amount of data entry into our computer software program that is not user friendly
- Taking Payments
- Become familiar with procedures for handling all aspects of customer accounts: rates, billing structure, etc.
Minimum Qualifications;
- At least 1 year of recent work experience in a professional office setting
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Suites Programs (Word, Excel, Spreadsheets, etc.)
- Multitasking and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to handle frequent daily interaction with customers, vendors and drivers
- Pleasant telephone and face-to-face demeanor
- Quick learner for industry-specific software programs for fleet tracking, data entry, etc.
- Ability to work well either alone or as a team
- Takes the initiative to complete tasks on time and expand knowledge of company.
- Professionalism, discretion and the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Ability to operate standard office equipment, including but not limited to, computers, telephone system, scanners, fax machines, and copiers.
