The Breast and GYN Health Project is looking for an experienced manager to lead its daily operations. BGHP is a local grassroots cancer resource center which has served people facing breast and/or gynecologic cancer or cancer concerns for nearly 30 years. BGHP provides education, resources and support, but does not provide medical care.
The Operations Director reports to the Executive Director. The OD helps create and implement policies and procedures. They ensure the staff and volunteers have the resources and support they need to do their jobs. These are exciting times as BGHP has recently purchased a new facility in Eureka, and will be moving from its longtime-leased space in downtown Arcata.
This is a full-time, in-person, benefited position. Experience with cancer is helpful, but not required. Nonprofit management experience is required. Minimum education of a bachelor’s degree is preferred, because writing is required, full job description at www.bghp.org.
