Redwoods Rural Health Center (RRHC) is seeking a full-time Program Assistant to support the Community Support Services (CSS) Department. This position provides a wide range of administrative and logistical support for projects, programs, and initiatives, ensuring the department runs smoothly and effectively. Key responsibilities include managing calendars, scheduling and organizing meetings, preparing agendas and minutes, coordinating events, and maintaining both digital and paper records. The Program Assistant will also assist with program tracking, outreach efforts, inventory management, and the preparation of documents such as reports, brochures, and presentations.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable, with excellent communication and writing skills. A Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or a related field, or equivalent work experience, is preferred, along with at least two years of relevant administrative experience. Strong computer proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite, is required, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinic environment. This role requires maintaining confidentiality, working both independently and collaboratively, and offering trauma-informed communication with patients, coworkers, and community partners.
RRHC is an EOE and offers a flexible schedule, 4-day work week, (not all positions will qualify for 4 days a week benefit), and competitive compensation. Health benefits, paid time off and retirement match available for full and part-time employees working over 24+ hours per week. The salary range is $22 to $29 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.
