The City is currently hiring to fill one (1) full-time vacancy for this position in the Engineering Department.
Under general direction, this position is responsible for the planning, implementation, and management of assigned capital projects and engineering programs. Areas of focus may include habitat restoration, building and city utility infrastructure, and both motorized and non-motorized transportation systems.
Key duties include:
Leading and overseeing the planning, design, bidding, and construction of City projects
Coordinating activities with contractors, regulatory agencies, and City staff
Serving as a liaison with community groups, public stakeholders, and regulatory bodies
Performing related duties as required
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Five (5) years of relevant work experience, including at least two (2) years in a supervisory role
Experience in construction project management is highly desirable
