Slice of Humboldt Pie is a busy sweet and savory pie restuarant and we are looking for long term employees, that would like to be part of an amazing, fun, team! Interested individuals must have at least 1 year experience PREP and COOKING in a professional fast past kitchen. Managerial experience a plus.
Shifts are typically 6 hrs.- 8hrs. You must be willing to work a mix of weekdays, AM, PM and weekend shifts, Holidays and the special list of days below. Please submit schedule availability with resume.
Our PREP/EXPO position, the duties include, but are not limited to: responsible for the baking of savory pot pies and hand pies, making salads, plating orders, large production prepping of fruits, vegetables and meats, multiplying recipes, making sauces, maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash, organizing, stocking, etc. and any other kitchen duties as needed.
We also need our team to have good time management, attention to detail, care for the food that we serve, follow directions, follow all health and safety codes, work in a clean manner and follow sanitation procedures, a willingness to learn, be on time and have a good attitude. You must be able to stand for your shift, with breaks and lift up to 50 lbs.
You must be available and here for the holidays and other special days!

Labor Day weekend – Kinetic Race kick off
June – PRIDE and Oyster Fest
August – HSU Move in and HSU Start
November - Thanksgiving
December – Christmas
