Math and Science Tutor Wanted at College of the Redwoods

The College of the Redwoods Special Programs are looking for a math and science tutor to tutor college-level math and science, with special consideration given if you’re able to tutor Chemistry. Ability to tutor both subjects is a plus, but we are willing to hire two people if needed. Experience tutoring or working with students who are limited-income, first-generation, or students with disabilities preferred. Must have expertise in subject matter by having a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field. Pay is $18-$23/hour, depending on education. This is a short-term, temporary position, in-person at the Eureka campus, approximately 10-12 hours per week, funded through May 8, 2026. Position may continue depending on funding and tutor availability. First review deadline is Friday, September 5th, 2025.
