Schedule: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM Mon, Tues, Thur and Fri/8:00 AM - 2:00 PM Wed
Position Overview:
The Instructional Support Aide plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations of classrooms across multiple grade levels. This position serves as a flexible team member who assists teachers with instructional tasks, supervises students during non-classroom times such as lunch and recess, and helps maintain a safe, nurturing, Christ-centered environment throughout the school day.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist multiple classroom teachers with daily instructional activities and routines.
Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning objectives.
Help prepare classroom materials and set up learning activities.
Support classroom management and positive behavior strategies.
Provide academic or behavioral support to students as needed.
Assist with transitions between activities and classrooms.
Supervise students during recess and lunch periods to ensure safety, respectful behavior, and meaningful play.
Monitor playground and lunchroom activities and encourage positive peer interactions.
