Barbieri & Kempe Wines is seeking a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a part-time Tasting Room Associate. If you love wine and enjoy interacting with guests in a fun, warm, and welcoming environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities:
-Provide exceptional customer service to all tasting room guests
-Educate customers about our wines and guide them through tastings
-Promote and sell wine, wine club memberships, and other merchandise
-Assist with restocking, cleaning, and maintaining the tasting room
-Collaborate with team members to create a positive and enjoyable experience for visitors
Requirements:
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Passion for wine and eagerness to learn more about Scott Harvey Wines
-Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or wine-related roles is a plus
-Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed
-Starting hourly rate of $18-$22 plus tips and commission

Qualifications
- Familiarity, experience with, and strong interest in wine
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 1+ years of previous experience in hospitality
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Availability to work weekends, evenings, special events, and holidays
- Responsible beverage service (RBS) certification
- Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds
- Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, standing, and twisting
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods
