Join Our Preschool Team as an Assistant Teacher!
Are you passionate about nurturing young minds in a vibrant, play-based environment? We're looking for an Assistant Teacher to support our dynamic Monday through Friday program!

Inspire Learning: Assist in leading engaging, curiosity-driven, play-based activities.

Requirements / Qualifications
Education and Experience
A combination of training and experience, which would likely provide the required knowledge and
abilities, may qualify. We reserve the right to determine if a candidate meets the qualifications.
Paid or volunteer experience in a public or private childcare and development program or other
experience
Graduation from high school, G.E.D. or equivalent
Possess or eligible to obtain a California Child Development Assistant Teacher permit through
the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing
Qualifications if not in possession of Child Development Assistant Teacher Permit:
o At least 2 semester units in early childhood education or child development each
semester following initial employment until 6 units have been completed.
o Three of the six semester units must qualify for School-Age Emphasis course work. (official transcripts will be required at the end of each semester to verify completed courses).
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: These requirements will have to be met prior to beginning employment
and will be requested upon job offer acceptance.
Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States
DOJ Fingerprint and Background clearance
Child Abuse Index clearance through California Department of Social Services
Megan’s Law sex offender registry clearance
Valid Tuberculosis (TB) clearance
Record of Vaccination for Flu (annual), TDAP, and MMR –in accordance with SB 792
