Description We are in search of a meticulous and experienced Sr. Accountant to join our team in the service industry, stationed in Glendale, California. This role involves assisting with NetSuite implementation, month-end close and bank reconciliation for a new entity. This is a contract position that offers an opportunity to exercise and enhance your expertise in NetSuite, Month End Close, and Audit.Responsibilities: Manage month-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Conduct bank reconciliation clean up to maintain accurate financial records Oversee the financial activities of the new entity, ensuring compliance with accounting and legal requirements Use your audit skills to identify discrepancies and propose corrective actions Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans Develop trends and projections for the firm’s finances and manage financial forecasting and budgets Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports.Requirements Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field CPA certification is desirable Minimum of seven years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Service industry Proficiency in using NetSuite software Experience in Month End Close procedures Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
