As a representative for Environment Control, you will be part of our administration team responsible for maintaining all front desk duties and some Human Resources duties.

FLSA Status: Non-ExemptFull-time (Temporary) Opportunity to convert into a full-time position
Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
Summary: We are looking for an HR Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of personnel-related administrative tasks in a small office setting. In this position, you will support the Administration and HR department in duties like posting job ads, updating HR database, processing employee requests, selecting and interviewing qualified candidates for commercial janitorial positions, conducting new hire orientation, prepare payroll for processing, general office duties, answering multi telephone lines, front desk, provide customer service to current employees and customers. Our HR Administrative Assistant position requires excellent organizational skills, time management, initiative, energetic, friendly, easy going, professional, and flexible with the everyday changes in work. If you are passionate about HR and dont mind being on the front line, this job is for you.
Responsibilities:
Maintain employee records (soft and hard copies)
Update HR databases (e.g. new hires, time card (payroll) changes, direct deposit changes)
Assist in payroll preparation
Prepare paperwork for HR policies and procedures
Process employees requests for time off/absences
Screen, schedule and interview qualified candidates
Answer multi-phones
HR and Administration filing
Conduct new hire orientation
Company client/staff Oral and written correspondence
Qualifications:
Proven work experience as an HR Assistant or Administrative Assistant
Hands on experience with HR software
PC literacy and experience with MS Office applications
Knowledge of CA labor laws
Professional appearance and demeanor
Ability to work collectively with other administrative team members
Ability to accept direction on given assignments
Excellent organization and time-management skills
Pay is dependent on experience.
