Replaces full tubs of product with empty tubs to be filled. Manually places full tubs onto pallets. Moves full pallets
into the storage cooler with a power jack.1. Code and weigh product (liver, heart, and gizzard) prior to
it being placed in freezer.
2. Utilize small cart to store product in refrigerated cooler by
product type, and place product on wooden pallets.
3. Maintain correct account of weights by product type on a
log sheet. Ice down any product to control temperature.
monitor product so that does not exceed temperature
standard (i.e., 40 degrees F.) in order to prevent spoilage
and/or contamination.
4. Utilize pallet jack to supply tubs to production line
employees. Re-work any tubs of product (i.e., mixed
products/livers in heart tubs, etc.) as requested by the
quality control representative(s).
REQUIREMENTS
1. Must be able to lift tubs weighing 50 pounds
2. Must be certified to operate pallet jack
3. Must be able to work with minimal supervision
4. Must be able to tolerate cool temperatures (30°F – 40°F)
5. Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time (8 – 10 hrs. daily) on concrete/metal grate floors
6. Must be able to perform grasping, frequent shoveling 20 – 40 lbs., bending, lifting up to 50 lbs. required
7. Must be able to pass BTE Level 2
8. Must be able to submit and pass a criminal background check
