Safely operate the cherry picker to reach elevated work areas.
Perform pre-operational checks and inspections of the equipment.
Maneuver the cherry picker smoothly and precisely to access specific locations.
Operate controls and mechanisms to raise, lower, extend, and retract the boom.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols while operating the cherry picker.
Maintain a high level of situational awareness and ensure the safety of yourself and others.
Loading/Unloading Duties:
Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment onto/from trucks, shelves, or designated areas.
Securely fasten loads to prevent shifting or damage during transportation.
Use appropriate tools and equipment to assist with loading and unloading processes.
Follow established procedures for handling fragile, hazardous, or bulky items.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of load documentation, such as packing slips or invoices.
The essential functions of this role include:
working in a smoke free environment
wearing steel toe shoes
working in a non-temperature controlled environment
manual lifting up to 50lbs
standing for 8 hours at one time
working weekends
