The company is looking for a Maintenance Technician III to join the team.Location: Fremont, CAShift: 10:00pm – 8:30amPay: $36.00/hr. – $41.00/hr.Job Description:
Provide technical support and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure the efficient operation of production, facility, and utility equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues across a wide range of site mechanical technologies.
Recommend and execute equipment upgrades and assist in developing new processes and procedures to improve operations.
Perform maintenance and corrective actions on production, facility, and utility equipment, ensuring performance reliability.
Adjust, repair, and replace components on mechanical systems as necessary, including electrical or powered components (e.g., multi-phase motors).
Respond to service calls and work on preventive, corrective, or emergency work orders during plant operations, including off-shifts and weekends.
Assist with troubleshooting deviations from proper operation and execute test protocols developed by the engineering team.
Maintain accurate, complete, and factual documentation in both written and electronic formats, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
Contribute to continuous improvement by documenting activities that support maintenance best practices and provide reliable data for analysis.
Perform qualification tests on new and existing equipment as required, following developed protocols.
Ensure all equipment/system documentation is up-to-date and properly logged in the Enterprise Asset Management System (EAM).
Qualifications:
Minimum of two (2) years of experience with mechanical systems, advanced maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of mechanical schematics, P&ID drawings, ISA symbols & numbering.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems and equipment.
Strong electrical, mechanical, and technical aptitude.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to maintain accurate records and adhere to relevant Work Instructions, Standard Operating Procedures, and regulatory requirements.
