Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description Performs general maintenance and repairs of installed equipment and systems to ensure the successful operation of boilers, compressors, refrigeration equipment, generators, air-conditioning facilities and all appurtenant equipment that is driven by steam, electricity, gas, air, diesel, water or any other power developing energy. Patrols, inspects, and maintains all mechanical, HVAC, electrical, piping and plumbing systems and equipment. Performs preventative maintenance as appropriate. May effect repairs on toilet facilities, registers, radiators, lights, fixtures, minor repairs on furniture and floors. Maintains the general cleanliness and appearance of assigned spaces, assists others as part of the maintenance team as required. May direct work of engineer apprentices.Skills and Requirements 2 years of relevant work experience Experience with a Facility Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) software highly desired. General knowledge of hand and power tools Strong written and oral communication skills High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certificate in related field preferred nullWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
