P OSI T I O N I D E N T IFI C A T I ONP osi t i o n T i t l e:Repack PickerJob Code:DS0640Organization:GTSDepartment :RepackLocation :Fontana, CAReports to :Click here to enter text.PURPOSE OF POSITIONThe Repack Picker is responsible for ensuring all the product is picked and packed neatly and accurately.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Examine and inspect boxes, materials, and products to ensure that packing specifications are met
Label boxes, box tags, or products, using marking tools
Count products and materials when required
Remove defective products or materials
Seal boxes or materials, using tape gun
Load materials and products into package processing equipment.
Assemble, line, and pad cartons and boxes
Obtain, move, and sort products, materials, containers, and orders, using hand tools and pump cart
REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or equivalent is acceptable
Broad knowledge of methods and procedures used in the various distribution center functions
General knowledge of distribution center layout.
Able to operate powered equipment efficiently and safely.
Achieve productivity and quality standards and change assignments as directed.
Familiarity with product by catalog number and handling characteristics.
Keep work area clean, free of debris and safe to work in.
Must have above average attendance, above average response to company requested overtime, and meet all Quality standards.
Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions and effectively use math and related skills, legible handwriting.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly.
