Collections Specialist

Description We are seeking a Collections Specialist for a long term contract employment opportunity in the Hospitality industry, located in Escondido, California. In this role, you will be primarily focused on maintaining customer accounts, managing billing inquiries, and ensuring efficient processing of customer credit applications. Responsibilities: Manage and maintain assigned customer accounts with outstanding balances. Efficiently process customer credit applications. Handle customer requirements for invoice payments such as vendor applications and questionnaires. Adhere to internal procedures for collecting overdue invoices and ensure that internal reports are updated. Reach out to customers via email or phone to confirm payment intent and status. Provide support to both internal teams and external customers with billing inquiries. Utilize accounting software systems and NetSuite for collections and billing functions. Manage B2B collections and accounts receivable. Answer inbound calls related to collections and billing. Requirements Proficient in Accounting Software Systems Extensive knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) Experience in handling inbound calls in a detail oriented manner Familiarity with various Billing Functions Understanding of Collection Processes in the hospitality industry Proven experience in B2B collections Ability to manage Collections efficiently Proficiency in using NetSuite software Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
