Accounting Clerk

Description We are looking for an Accounting Clerk to join our team in Encino, California. This role is focused on maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, and supporting our accounting team. This is a short term contract employment opportunity that offers the chance to gain valuable experience in the industry.Responsibilities: Manage the accurate and efficient input and update of data into databases and spreadsheets. Perform routine checks to verify the accuracy and completeness of data, making necessary corrections or reentering information as needed. Maintain a systematic and accessible storage of files and records. Collaborate closely with team members to address any discrepancies or inconsistencies in data. Conduct regular data backups to ensure data preservation. Uphold data entry procedures and guidelines to maintain consistency and standardization. Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, Data Entry, Invoice Processing, Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to perform tasks efficiently. Requirements Proficiency in Account Reconciliation Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Ability to handle Billing tasks effectively Proficient in Data Entry tasks Experience in Invoice Processing Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Familiarity with Oracle software Experience with QuickBooks software Knowledge of SAP software Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong written and verbal communication abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred Prior experience in an accounting role is highly desirable Must adhere to all company policies and procedures Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
