REQ#: RQ56002Travel Required: 10-25% Public Trust: None Requisition Type: Regular Manages the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems.Analyzes, administers, and maintains telecommunications systems.Responsible for voice and data communication services.

  • Evaluates, analyzes, administers and maintains voice, data and wireless communications systems.
  • Monitors operations of telecommunication systemsand responds to hardware and software problems utilizing a variety of hardware and software testing tools and techniques.
  • Installs and configures applications software and related hardware (such as desktops, and related peripherals like printers, scanners, drives, monitors, video teleconferencing hardware).
  • Installs and configures telecommunication equipment (such as PBX or VoIP phones) using Cisco Call Manager.
  • Provides end-user training of telecommunications features and functionality.
  • Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced Analysts and Technicians.
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
  • Participates in special projects as required.
  • ,"BA/BSin a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications training, or work experience.2+ years of directly related experience supporting information systems operations.","2+ years of networking experience using routers and switches.- Active Directory Account Management-Windows 7 troubleshooting and OS development- Application troubleshooting tools- Outlook; Excel, Word; JAVA; Internet Explorer- Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) experience is a plus- Experience with PBX or VoIP is beneficial- Experience with Video Teleconferencing (VTC) equipment is beneficialDue to the sensitive nature of the work, candidates must have a TS/SCI with Polygraph.Must possess appropriate current DoD information assurance (IA) certification to be considered for employment; either CompTIA Security+CE or CCNA-Security; COMPTIA+CE is the preferred certification. In addition must attain the required DoD 8570 Computing Environment (CE) Certification prior to Hire Date. As part of your role/function on the program; you will be granted privileged user access. Privileged Users are subject to greater scrutiny as a direct result of significant responsibilities placed upon them. Please be aware that because of these critical duties; you will be subject to additional IT system monitoring; and supervisory evaluation to ensure continuous adherence to Privileged User processes and procedures.
