It is a great opportunity for the professional who has a minimum of 4 years of California Workers' Compensation Claims Representative experience and is looking for a 3-month plus work-from-home consulting opportunity.salary: $40 - $46.43 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 5 PMeducation: BachelorsResponsibilitiesSupport the Workers' Compensation Claims Department dedicated to issuing timely, accurate benefit payments to customers and channel partners. You must have a minimum of 4 years of California Worker's Compensation Claims experience; ideally, you will also possess your Claims Adjuster CA certification.Accountabilities include:
Reviewing and processing complicated workers' compensation claims
Handling the high exposure claims involving litigation and rehabilitation action
Researching and analyzing legal information and facts gathered
Monitoring the course of claims investigations and utilizing resources to reach claim decisions
Thoroughly documenting claims decisions
Developing and coordinating compensation claims' action plans for resolution, return to work, and approval of payments
Investigating claims to make sure they are not fraudulent
Negotiating settlements
