Lead Preschool Teacher

The Lead Teacher supports the growth and development of the children in their care by providing a safe and nurturing environment, embracing the individuality of each student, and focusing on their progress cognitively, socially, and emotionally.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESPlan and provide developmentally appropriate activities across all developmental domains to create an instructional program that meets the needs of the whole child.Ensure implementation of developmentally appropriate curriculum and ongoing assessment.Attend and participate in all relevant staff, center, and community meetings, activities, and events.Track children’s progress and report to parents.Work cooperatively with other staff members, and accept supervision and help promote a positive atmosphere.Ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations regarding a Preschool Center in the State of California.Exhibits pride and enthusiasm in the profession, continues professional growth, and remain current on issues and trends in the early childhood education field.
