Works on engineering designs, prepare reports, develop plans, prepare specifications, and prepares cost estimates for various wastewater projects

Adheres to budget, schedule, contractual obligations and quality standards. Participates in developing budgets and schedules.

Prepares technical memoranda, reports and electronic deliverables; data entry and analysis, and working through the construction phase on the projects.

Supervise or coordinate the work of staff engineers, drafters, technicians, and others who assist in specific assignments

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering

6-12 years of water project experience

Experience in planning, design and construction of wastewater treatment facilities

Registration as a Professional Engineer in California or the ability to obtain within six months

Application of engineering principles including critical thinking, analysis, and innovative technique

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to communicate effectively with clients and project team

Work well in a team environment

Ability to deliver high quality services within budget and schedule constraints

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering

Pay Range$85,000 to $135,000 annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.
